The study was prepared for the Secretariat of the Fiscal Council of the Hungarian National Assembly by the Kopint-Tárki team to review the impact of global economic processes on the Hungarian economy. The paper is available in Hungarian.
Overview of the Hungarian employment situation at the beginning of 2017
The study, prepared for the National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers (VOSZ), analyses the employment situation in Hungary, based on corporate surveys and the data of the Labour Center from the beginning of 2017. The study deals with vacancies, tax wedges, assesses the public work system and the current state of education and vocational training in Hungary.

The tendencies of trade in value-added in the OECD countries
The study, prepared for the Fiscal Council of Hungary, presents the main trends in world trade, the relationship between trade and FDI, and the relationship between trade in value-added and competitiveness and global value chains. The analysis outlines the preliminary results for the EU, for Hungary and other countries and presents the methodology for compiling TiVA.

PRELIMINARY STUDY ON MACROECONOMIC AND BUDGETARY FORECASTING METHODOLOGIES
At the request of the Fiscal Council of Hungary, we prepared a preliminary study on the development of a macromodel, which would strenghten the analytical capabilities of the institute as well as enable it to provide various forward looking analyzes, projections, bases and alternative scenarios.
Methodological support for the determination of indicators and base value
The purpose of the study, commissioned by the Prime Minister’s Office, was to facilitate the development of a set of matching indicators for operational programs between 2014-2020, currently being finalized – GINOP, KEHOP, IKOP, EFOP, VEKOP, TOP and KÖFOP -, and, where possible, propose base and target values for these indicators.

Support to the Creation of Cohesion Policy Position: The Rippling Effect of the Central Hungarian Region
The purpose of the study, prepared for the National Development Agency of Hungary, is to estimate the significance of investments in the Central Hungarian region for the impact on the development of the whole country and to estimate the negative impact of the fact that this region receives significantly less EU funding in the next programming period on the whole country.
Situation assesment of the hotel and catering sector
The study, prepared for the Hungarian Development Bank, examines the tourism sector as the only service sector that has a demonstrable multiplier effect on GDP thanks to its vertical and horizontal interdependent connections.

The convergence of wages in the European Union
