The aim of this project is to encourage, support and coordinate mutual learning between V4 countries and Ukraine in order to assist those countries’ progress towards the reduction of tax gaps.
In the context of the impact assessment of the AVMSD, this study analyses the self- and co-regulatory schemes on protection of minors from harmful audiovisual content and on audiovisual commercial communications in the EU. It covers both television broadcasting and in on-demand audiovisual media.
The study, prepared for the European Commission, DG Enterprise and Industry, checked compliance with the commitment of each country participating in the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme (CIP), i.e. the 28 Member States, Albania, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Iceland, Israel, Turkey, Liechtenstein, Montenegro, Norway, and Serbia. The results of the study informed the Commission’s report to the meeting of the EU’s Competitiveness Council in May 2014.
The project strengthened further the capacity of Monstat to produce agricultural statistics, national accounts and business statistics, and reinforced the Monstat IT sector, namely further developed the metadata and electronic questionnaires and PC AXIS implementation.
EURA-NET is an international research project funded by the European Union’s 7th Framework Programme for the period 2014-2017. The objective of EURA-NET is to attain an understanding of the current characteristics and related policy impact of temporary transnational mobility of people.
