The aim of the paper, which was prepared for the Economic and Social Council of Hungary, is to make a comparative study on the convergence of wages at the national economic level in the new Central and Eastern European (CEE(10)) member states of the EU after the EU accession as well as the impact of the real economic crisis following the international financial crisis on wage convergence.
