Study on the compliance by Member States on the time needed to get licences and permits to take up and perform the specific activity of an enterprise as from beginning of 2014

The study checked compliance with the commitment of each country participating in the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme (CIP), i.e. the 28 Member States, Albania, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Iceland, Israel, Turkey, Liechtenstein, Montenegro, Norway, and Serbia. The results of the study informed the Commission’s report to the meeting of the EU’s Competitiveness Council in May 2014.

Women Entrepreneurs in Europe – Statistical Assesment Analysis

This study was carried out at the request of the European Commisson in order to gather available statistical data on women entrepreneurs in Europe.

Evaluation of Market Practices and Policies on SME Rating

The study prepared for the European Commission, DG Enterprise and Industry, analyses the credit requests of SMEs with particular emphasise on their market practices and regulations. It also confirms that the smaller a firm, the larger the likelihood that its credit application might be declined by a financial institution.
